R. Mallone received a MD PhD degree from the University of Turin, Italy. After a Postdoc at the Benaroya Institute in Seattle, he moved to Paris where he is currently an Inserm Research Director and an attending physician in Diabetology at the Cochin Institute. His research focuses on autoimmune T cells, characterization of their antigenic targets and development of novel T-cell-based diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic tools. He co-chairs the IDS T-Cell Workshop Committee.
