Dr. Dutz is Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science at the University of British Columbia. He is a Senior Scientist with the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, where his research focus is the skin immune system and the manipulation of this system to promote immune responses and induce tolerance with a focus on type 1 diabetes prevention.
